Getting Dark!

 **When Daylight Fades**

When daylight fades and shadows fall,
And twilight whispers, dusk's soft call,
The world turns hushed, the day's last sigh,
As light retreats from the evening sky.

In the quiet gloom, the night takes hold,
A story silent, yet untold,
Where dreams and fears alike reside,
In the deepening dark, they coincide.

The stars above, like distant eyes,
Witness to earth's quiet cries,
A tapestry of the night's embrace,
Each a stitch in time and space.

Yet in this dark, there's beauty too,
A dance of light, a different hue,
For even in the darkest night,
There lies the hope of morning's light.

So let us not fear the coming dark,
For in its depth, there's a hidden spark,
A promise that after the night's long roam,
Dawn will come to guide us home.
